Cathy Cavanaugh

Cathy Cavanaugh is a registered dietitian with over twenty years of experience in public health nutrition. She started her career working for the Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program ( WIC) in Los Angeles, and after moving to Santa Cruz County in 1989 has worked for Salud Para La Gente Medical clinic in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County Head Start, Pajaro Valley Unified School District Head Start, and is currently the Director for Community Bridges WIC Program. Cathy has
also taught nutrition classes at Cabrillo Community College since 1993 is active in a variety of community coalitionss, including the new collaborative partnership formed to respond to the increasing rates of child obesity in Santa Cruz County, Go For Health!
