Mike Pippi

Mike Pippi is the Executive Director of Healthy Eating Lifestyle Principles, Inc. (HELP) Prior to this he served four years as Founding Director of a government/education/business partnership for work force and economic development at Portland State University in Oregon dedicated to the Creative Service business cluster. He was a strategic organizational consultant for the City of Los Angeles Redevelopment Agency coordinating the development of a long range master plan for economic recovery for the City of North Hollywood linking business to its new No Ho Arts District. Prior to this he served for three years as Global Director of Artist Development and School Recruitment for Walt Disney Feature Animation, supervising offices in California, Florida and France. He spent four years living in Moscow, Russia as Director of Special Projects for Turner International Broadcasting assisting to privatize the previously state controlled television industry and helping to build a new television network for Ted Turner. During this time he was also co-founder of the government sanctioned Academy of Russian Television and consulting producer for Russia’s first ever television Awards Ceremonies, the TEFIS. In the mid 1980’s thru early 1990’s he was the Vice-Chairman of Cultural Affairs for the Los Angeles-St. Petersburg Sister City Committee under both Mayors’ offices and produced numerous joint venture cultural exchange programs between the USA and Russia including the Los Angeles run of the pioneering Catherine the Great Museum Exhibit from Russia’s State Hermitage Museum and the first ever Russian float in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses’ Parade along with its live telecast into the former USSR.
