Mills Family Farms Shrimp Cocktail Lettuce Leaves

Tired of serving the same old crackers and cheese to friends when they stop by, but still want something quick and delicious?

1 bag of Mills Family Farms Wholeaves (Romaine)
1lb of fresh cooked baby shrimp
1 small jar of prepared seafood cocktail sauce

 

  1. Start with a bag of “Mill’s Family Farms Wholeave Lettuce”, found next to the whole head lettuce in the produce section. Choose from Mill’s Family Farm’s Wholeaves; red, green or Romaine lettuce. I love these Wholeaves because they come already washed, separated and ready to use.
  2. I’m using Mill’s Family Farm’s Romaine Wholeaves; fill each leaf with one tablespoon of fresh baby shrimp.
  3. Top the shrimp with a teaspoon of your favorite cocktail sauce
  4. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator until guests arrive.
  5. Six cracker rounds have 186 calories and six Mill’s Family Farm’s Wholeaves have only 30 calories!
